Meet Apostle Sonny J Walker, Sr
Senior Pastor, Apostle Sonny J. Walker, Sr. and First Lady, Prophetess LaTonya E. Walker embody the rare balance of spiritual gifts and practical educational experiences that connects pastoral leadership and discipleship teaching with prophetic preaching and courageous social action. Apostle and Prophetess Walker are equipped and poised to initiate theological revival, decisive commitment, and rededication to the teachings of Jesus the Christ as the foundation for personal living, family stability and community development.

Meet Our First Family
Senior Pastor married First Lady, Prophetess Latonya Walker in 2017 and together they share five children and nine grandchildren. Lady Walker became a member of Mt. Carmel Worship Center in 2015 and serves faithfully in the church alongside her husband.

Our Pastor's Journey
A Lifetime of Service and Study
Pastor Walker has served as a Deacon, Youth Pastor and Head Musician, playing the bass guitar. In 1983 Pastor Walker gave his life to Christ! Seven years later (1990) he was called to the ministry of God. Pastor Walker’s theology and ministry studies began at Moody Bible Institute, Sunbury Road Bible Institute, Ministering Spiritual Gifts (1998), The School of Prophets (2000), Break Through Biblical Counseling (2003) and The School of Apostles (2004). April 13, 2007, Sonny Joseph Walker, Sr. was ordained as the Senior Pastor of Mt. Carmel Worship Center.
